This section of oomRoom.ca is for parents whose children are learning the Ukrainian language at any level from preschool to grade 12, and in any program whether it is a bilingual program, core program, a sadochok, a Saturday/Heritage Language school, or an independent language course.

It is our intent that the resources and tools that you find here will be useful to you and will help you to:

  • Understand what your child is learning and why;
  • Gain a better understanding of the Ukrainian language yourself, regardless of your experience with the language;
  • Help your children improve their language acquisition and retention by actively sharing in Ukrainian language activities with them;
  • Gain a deeper understanding of historical and contemporary Ukrainian culture.
