About this resource

This educational Web site “Sarcee Reserve: An Indian Community” is based on Sarcee Reserve: An Indian Community originally a social studies resource published in 1987 by Reidmore Books and on "Резерва Сарсі - індіянська громада" published in Ukrainian in 1993 by Les Editions Duval.

How to use this resource

Teachers in and outside of Alberta may want to become familiar with this Canadian resource before presenting it to their students. They should see how this resource fits in with their prescribed curriculum to ensure that educational objectives are effectively met. This resource can be used in the Social Studies, English Language Arts and Ukrainian Language Arts subject areas and is targeted for use with grade four students.
